Overview
We are pleased to invite you to the first Zero Emission Flight Demonstrator cohort / CAA Hydrogen Challenge Sandbox event. To be held in central Birmingham on the 25th of November from 10:30 am until 3 pm. The event is in person.
It will bring together organisations from across the Department for Transport (DfT)-funded Zero Emission Flight Demonstrator (ZEFD) programme and CAA Hydrogen Challenge Sandbox to share progress, learning and emerging challenges.
The day will provide an opportunity for projects to hear updates from across the programme, share experiences and discuss common challenges and opportunities, while strengthening collaboration across the ZEFD cohort.
The event will also be held alongside the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) Hydrogen Sandbox, providing an additional opportunity for those projects working on hydrogen technologies to engage with the CAA and explore relevant regulatory considerations.
The cohort event will include:
- updates and learning from across the ZEFD programme
- sharing of project experiences, challenges and opportunities
- networking and collaboration across the ZEFD cohort
- engagement with DfT and Innovate UK
- an opportunity for relevant hydrogen projects to engage with the CAA H2 Sandbox
This is a closed cohort event for organisations participating in the DfT-funded Zero Emission Flight Demonstrator programme, alongside invited programme stakeholders.
