Overview

Join us on Tuesday 22 September for the Battery Innovation Programme – Battery Innovation Programme: Connect & Collaborate Event, taking place in London.

This invitation-only event will bring together project partners from the Battery Innovation Programme CR&D Round 1 and organisations interested in applying to CR&D Round 3. It will provide a valuable opportunity to connect with innovators, industry leaders and potential collaborators, share insights from ongoing projects, and explore future opportunities within the UK battery innovation ecosystem.

CR&D Round 3 will build on the programme's mission to accelerate battery innovation by supporting collaborative research and development projects that address key technical and commercial challenges across the battery value chain. The competition will fund collaborative R&D projects to strengthen the UK battery supply chain by scaling domestic manufacturing of cells, modules, packs and battery management systems (BMS), helping to reduce overseas dependencies. It will also support feasibility studies aimed at accelerating the commercialisation of state-of-the-art battery technologies, driving UK competitiveness and cross-sector electrification.

Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask that only one representative per organisation attends in person.
