AHEP Annual Conference 2026

We are delighted to announce details of our Annual Conference, which will be delivered virtually from Thursday 7 May to Friday 8 May 2026.

This year's conference title is:

Thriving Together: Reimagining Professional Services in a Shifting Higher Education Sector.

This theme reflects the spirit of our community during a time of significant change. Across the sector, professional services teams are navigating financial pressures, evolving expectations, and ongoing structural shifts. Through it all, they continue to deliver stability, innovation, and support for students and staff.

This theme recognises the turbulence of the moment, but it focuses on the strength we find in each other. By sharing experiences, collaborating, and learning from colleagues across institutions, we can confidently reimagine what professional services can look like in the future.

The 2026 conference invites us to come together, reconnect with our purpose, and explore new ways of working that are resilient, people-centred, and forward-thinking. Together, we can shape a positive and sustainable future for professional services in higher education.

Why not become a member and get access to the member discount when registering your place at conference! You can register for AHEP membership now! Please note that AHEP membership is not included in the non-member Full Attendance fee. By purchasing membership first, you can save money on your conference ticket and enjoy a full year of AHEP membership, giving you ongoing access to professional development, resources and community connections beyond the conference.

Please note, excluding the member discount, you are only entitled to receive one discount per booking.

This year, the AHEP Annual Conference will be delivered entirely virtually, designed specifically to meet the current realities facing the higher education sector. This shift comes at a moment when HE continues to face financial pressures, rapid change, and increasing demands on professional services teams. After several fantastic in-person conferences, we’re excited about the opportunities this new virtual format brings for 2026, making it easier for more colleagues to participate and contribute to the conversations shaping the future of our sector.
