Access to democratic participation should not depend on someone’s housing status. Yet people experiencing homelessness or living in temporary accommodation often face significant barriers to registering to vote.
This interactive online course empowers frontline housing and support staff to play a confident, informed role in removing those barriers. By strengthening your understanding and approach, you will help ensure that tenants and people experiencing homelessness are not excluded from their right to vote.
Grounded in real practice, the session focuses on building confidence, tackling common challenges, and embedding inclusive approaches within your organisation. Through realistic scenarios and collaborative discussion, you will develop practical strategies that can be applied immediately in conversations with the people you support.
