- Prof. Isabella Eckerle (Université de Genève), presenting on Of bats, viruses and humans: A complicated relationship
The scientific programme will include the following sessions, for which abstracts may be submitted:
- BAMP Swiss Trypanosomatid Meeting
- Vectors and vector-borne diseases
- Clinical tropical medicine
- Veterinary parasitology
- One health
- Travel medicine
- Molecular parasitology
- Clinical cases
- Development of new diagnostics, drugs and vaccines
In addition, there will company exhibitions and prices for the best student contributions (poster and oral presentations).
The meeting will provide ample opportunities to strengthen existing collaborations and establish new connections during coffee breaks, lunches and the conference apéro, followed by the conference dinner on Thursday, 3 September 2026, at the Hôtel Beaulac.
We look forward to welcoming many of you to Neuchâtel for what promises to be a stimulating and enjoyable meeting at the beautiful lake side, continuing the strong collaborative spirit of our two sister societies.
With best regards,
The Boards of the SSTTM and SSTMP
Eva Gluenz + Pascal Mäser (BAMP, SSTMP)
