Why Business of Impact?
Corporate pledges are no longer enough. The world's most pressing challenges — climate transition, social inequality, economic fragility — won't be solved by individual programmes or one-off investments. They require the private sector to fundamentally reimagine its role: not as a donor, but as a systems actor.
Business of Impact exists for the corporate leaders, foundations, and funds that are ready to make that shift. Over two days in Portugal, we cut through the noise to focus on what it actually takes to move from strategy to implementation. To build the partnerships, tools, and shared infrastructure that make collective action possible.
This is where corporate impact gets serious.

This event is for you:
You've made the commitments. You have the resources. Now you're asking the harder question: how do we actually make this work at scale?
You'll find your people here if you:
- Lead a corporate foundation, CSR function, or impact investment team and want to connect strategy to measurable outcomes
- Believe that coordinated action across corporates, foundations, and funds will achieve what none can do alone
- Are ready to move from your organisation's impact journey to a collective one
- Are exploring or actively deploying blended finance and want to learn from others doing the same

The line-up
Meet some of the voices joining us in Lisbon. Explore the featured speakers below and discover the full line-up here.

Meet us in Lisbon
On 15-16 September, we are meeting at the Largo Trindade Coelho (square) nestled in the gorgeous historic centre of Lisbon. Business of Impact will be making its mark on the area, with sessions and events taking place in adjascent buildings around the square. These include the avant-garde Brotéria, a cultural centre, the Casa Ásia museum and Santa Casa da Misericórdia, one of the country’s most impactful charitable organisations.
Set where tradition, bold ideas and fresh perspectives meet, this year’s edition offers a fitting backdrop for two days on corporate impact, collaboration and systems change.
It is the right place to ask what business can do differently, and what we can build together.
