Join us for our annual UCalgary Residence Move-In Day!
Help us welcome our first-year residents to their new home 😊
Volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the day.
Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt, along with a meal voucher that can be used at The Landing anytime during 2026/2027 Academic year.
Move-in Day Schedule
Parking
- 7:30 am – 8:30 am
- Volunteer registration located at the base of the stairs to the Landing inside the Dining Centre
- Free breakfast located in the The Landing for all staff, CAs and volunteers
- 9:00 am
- The first residence move-in check-in will start
- 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Move-in Fair located in the Aurora Quad (behind the Dining Centre)
- 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
- Free lunch located in The Landing for students and parents/families
- Free lunch for staff and volunteers will be in the Blue room
- 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm
- Free cotton candy, popcorn and BBQ in the Aurora Quad (Behind the Dining Centre)
- 4:00 pm
- Parents/ Family welcome and presentation in The Landing
- 5:00 pm
- Please stay for a $10 dinner in The Landing
