The Marine Unexploded Ordnance Survey & Clearance Symposium will bring together industry professionals, experts, and leaders to address the challenges and innovations in the field of marine UXO survey identification and clearance.

Summary
The conference has a strong emphasis on delegate participation and networking, bringing industry leaders and pioneers into the same room to exchange knowledge, share lessons learnt and identify the latest in industry capabilities. The in-person only event is over a two-day period, with a mobile app which opens 4 weeks before, and remains open for 4 weeks post-event. This app will facilitate networking, provide access to presentation materials and accommodate online ‘booths’ for sponsors and exhibitors.
By bringing together the entire Marine UXO industry into one room, including policy makers, consultant organisations, survey, identification and clearance contractors, historical record research bodies, defence industry professionals, technology and software innovators and more, the conference offers the unique opportunity to perform market research, network, knowledge share and further develop the collective effort to reduce the risk remnants of war pose to the subsea and offshore markets.
Through a call for abstracts, this conference ensures delegates are presented the latest and best in innovation and real-world experiences, unlike many other conferences which offer paid-only presentations. This conference is by the industry, for the industry.
Early-bird ticket sales close 30th October 2026, with total ticket numbers limited to 150. There are ample opportunities to sponsor the event and exhibit on the day with dedicated table-top (and supporting pull up banners) spaces within the breakout and networking room.
