In 2023, the European University Association launched a series of webinars to demystify the new European Research Area (ERA). The ERA Policy Agenda 2022-2024 has ended, and it is now time for the new ERA Policy Agenda 2025-2027 to continue the work. In this context, what does ERA actually mean for universities? Why should university leaders care about ERA? And how can universities get involved nationally in shaping ERA?
