This year's Climate Week NYC will focus on the energy, the impact, and the action that we drive together.

In times of economic and climate uncertainty, collaboration, and learning from one another is key. Critical issues are shaping decision-making in boardrooms around the world.

It’s exactly why Climate Week NYC was set up, and why it returns from September 20–27, 2026. Climate Week NYC is the world’s largest climate event, bringing together more than 100,000 people across 1,000+ events in New York City.

Climate Week NYC returns for 2026

The world is facing a period of rapid geopolitical and technological change, and with it, new urgency and opportunity for climate action. As economies electrify and energy security moves to the top of the global agenda, the business case for renewables, storage and clean technologies continues to strengthen, driving investment across energy, mobility, buildings and industry. 

Yet progress is not keeping pace with ambition. From regulatory barriers and grid constraints to broader geopolitical uncertainty, the transition is being slowed at the very moment it needs to accelerate.

At Climate Week NYC, the focus is on moving from ambition to action. This is where leaders come together to tackle real-world challenges, unlock investment, modernize systems and scale solutions - ensuring the shift to clean, reliable and inclusive electrification happens faster. 

As a cornerstone moment in the global climate calendar, Climate Week NYC brings together decision-makers from business, government and civil society to drive the partnerships and practical implementation needed to deliver impact at scale.

Opening Ceremony and The Hub Live

Climate Week NYC kicks off with the Opening Ceremony, which this year will take place on Monday, September 21. Climate leaders of today and tomorrow will address critical issues and trends. They’ll dive deep into the investments and opportunities in clean tech that are powering shifts in finance, innovation, supply chains, and policy and regulatory changes.  

The Hub Live, taking place from the afternoon of Monday, September 21 into Tuesday, September 22, continues to provide a platform for doers, drivers and trailblazers of climate action where they share, collaborate, and inspire the change that is needed to overcome the hurdles in our path. Climate leaders will sharpen their own and the audience’s thinking, and explore the action, innovation and collaboration that are needed to speed up climate success, ignite progress and go faster.
