The youth of Albania, including those of Elbasan, have been beaten down. In their home country, they are not able to find the proper education they are striving for, even fewer possibilities to prepare themselves for the changing world of work in the future. Outdated systems make it difficult for young people to specialize in new fields and continue their studies, therefore they cannot find a suitable job and feel the necessity for leaving their own country. The unemployment rate is rising, and young people are leaving the country looking for better career opportunities abroad. Something must be changed about that. In addition to the social system, education policy must be largely improved. It is necessary to give young people the possibility for the best education so that sustainable growth for the country's economy can be secured in the long term.
