Welcome
The Aspiring Research Leaders training event offers a unique opportunity for late-stage PhDs, postdocs, and early-career researchers to gain insights, connect with peers, and get tips to further your career from those who have done the same.
The event will be taking place the day before the Society for Endocrinology's annual conference, SfE BES 2027, which takes place within the same venue from Monday 8 - Wednesday 10 March.
The programme has been designed with advice from early career researchers on what they want and need to help them to progress, and includes advice on how and where to apply for funding, how to demonstrate independence, and manage a research group.
Those that attend will be offered feedback on funding ideas, and will be encouraged to form a group providing opportunities for long term networking and mutual support.
Come along from 13:00 to enjoy lunch with other delegates. Sessions start at 14:00.
